Hooligans come up short of expectations, succumb to Mutinous Apes in 165.35-108.45 rout
Hooligans underperformed projections, as Mutinous Apes rolled to a 165.35-108.45 victory. Hooligans took a 9.30-point lead on Thursday, but it was all Mutinous Apes after that. They were led by Davante Adams, who caught 14 passes for 156 yards and 2 touchdowns for 41.6 points, and Calvin Ridley, who caught 9 passes for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns (33.9 points). Lamar Jackson (36.25 points) and Dalvin Cook (21.8) led the way for Hooligans in the loss. Mutinous Apes (1-0) will look to keep it rolling against WarEagle, while Hooligans (0-1) match up against SAWTOOTHS in an effort to get back on track.
Projected to score 15.83 points, Ridley more-than-doubled that amount by scoring 33.9 points as the Falcons lost to the Seahawks 38-25. He caught 9 passes for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns to beat his projection by the highest percentage of any player on Mutinous Apes this week. Next week, Ridley will face the Cowboys.
Mutinous Apes
Listen, Mutinous Apes, we applaud you on the confidence. It takes a special kind of guts to field a starter with negative points (the Minnesota Vikings defense) while still getting the W. All we ask is to please keep those shenanigans to the early regular season. Try it in the playoffs and we're toast.
Hooligans
Unless Hooligans wants to go full diva-mode, then "not seeing enough looks" doesn't fly as an excuse this week. As a group, our pass-catching corps (four WR, one TE) collectively saw a grand total of 23 targets in Week 1. Those players should spend extra practice time working with their QBs, considering they hauled in only 13 receptions.
