Back-and-forth battle ends with War Pony coming back to defeat Vultures in 157.4-132.0 rout

Well, that was exhilarating! After a back-and-forth matchup featuring three lead changes, War Pony earned a convincing win over Vultures, rolling to a 157.4-132.0 victory. Vultures pulled out to an early 1.5-point lead on Thursday. War Pony came back to take the lead early afternoon Sunday, powered by outstanding performances from Stefon Diggs (20.8 points) and John Brown (17.9). Unphased, Vultures pulled it together later that night to take a 3.5-point lead behind Drew Brees (32.9 points) and Chris Godwin (7.1). But War Pony came back again when it mattered most on Monday night, as Jakobi Meyers (28.9 points) put them back in the lead once and for all. War Pony (6-3) will look to sustain their momentum against Negligent Discharges, while Vultures (4-5) meet Steel Reign in an effort to right the ship.

Coach Talk

War Pony
Way to shrug off that three-game winless streak, War Pony! Each fantasy team is sure to be hit with adversity at some point or another... keep on truckin' and take things one week at a time.
Vultures
Only one make on three field goal tries? Seems like Joey Slye may have just toe-bashed himself to the waiver wire following this effort.
