Steel Reign find way to top Vultures 102.0-85.5 despite coming up short of projections

Both teams failed to rise to the occasion, falling short of their projected point totals, but Steel Reign did enough to take down Vultures, coming out on top with a 102.0-85.5 win. Steel Reign grabbed an early 3.1-point lead on Thursday. Vultures bounced back to take the lead early afternoon Sunday, powered by Chris Godwin (15.2 points) and James Robinson (13.2). Not to be deterred, Steel Reign got it going later that afternoon, as Brandon Aiyuk (19.7 points) and Jason Sanders (14) put them back in the lead once and for all. Steel Reign (4-6) will look to notch another win against WarEagle, while Vultures (4-6) will match up against SAWTOOTHS in an effort to get back in the win column.
