Redlegs fall short of predictions, lose to Negligent Discharges in 147.65-93.75 rout
There's no sugarcoating it, Redlegs dropped the ball, at least according to projections, as Negligent Discharges cruised to a 147.65-93.75 victory. It didn't take long to learn who would be the frontrunner in this one, as Negligent Discharges jumped out to a 37.10-point lead on Thursday behind impressive efforts from Sammy Watkins and Tyreek Hill. Watkins caught 7 passes for 82 yards and a touchdown for 21.5 points, while Hill caught 5 passes for 46 yards and a touchdown (15.6 points). Jared Goff (13.25 points) and Julian Edelman (13) were the top performers for Redlegs in the loss. Negligent Discharges (1-0) will look to notch another W against Doughboys, while Redlegs (0-1) try to get back on track against Warm Bodies.

Coach Talk
Negligent Discharges
Creating mismatches is a big component to winning in football. Thanks to some stellar yardage production from our ball-carriers, our team created a big disparity this week. Our three backfield starters put up 115 more yards from scrimmage than the RBs on Redlegs (243 total yards to 128), and we wound up royally dominating them at the position, 45.3 points to 17.8.
Redlegs
Well, we can't really complain about a lack of opportunities this week, can we? As a group, our pass-catching corps (four WR and one TE) were targeted a whopping 36 times in Week 1. With only 21 total receptions, that group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
