Mierda underperformed expectations, as Boomer Bust secured a 1,422.0-1,132.5 victory. Boomer Bust earned a 417.5-point lead on Thursday behind impressive showings from Justin Herbert and Kenneth Murray. Herbert passed for 314 yards , ran for 14 yards and scored 3 touchdowns for 426 points, while Murray made 8 tackles (36 points). Mierda bounced back to take the lead during the early slate on Sunday, powered by Russell Wilson (226.5 points) and Brandon Aiyuk (112). Not to be deterred, Boomer Bust pulled it together later that night, as Colt McCoy (284.5 points) and Wayne Gallman Jr. (33.5) put them back ahead for good. This marks the first time this season Boomer Bust have gotten the best of Mierda, after falling 1,641-1,351 in their last matchup. Boomer Bust will look to not lose that winning feeling in next week's semifinal round, while Mierda attempt to rebound and finish the season with a win.
