Granny's Gang knock off Bloody Sabbath for second time, 168.55-156.65
Granny's Gang beat Bloody Sabbath for the second time this season to remain perfect, securing a 168.55-156.65 victory. Bloody Sabbath earned a 1.45-point lead early Sunday afternoon, but Granny's Gang held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Adam Thielen, who caught 8 passes for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns for 35.3 points, and Cam Newton, who passed for 365 yards and a touchdown (28.85 points). Kirk Cousins (37.6 points) and Derrick Henry (23.2) did everything they could for Bloody Sabbath in the loss. Granny's Gang (11-0) will look to add to their success against Stafford Infection, while Bloody Sabbath (4-7) will face Necessary Roughness in an effort to get back on track.
While passing for 365 yards and a touchdown against the Texans, Newton scored 28.85 points this week. His scoring output was 29.8% more than his 22.22-point projection and was much higher than his 19.06-point season scoring average. Newton ranks #22 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Cardinals next week.
