Despite drawing the No. 4 overall pick, I’m Pickle Rick! drafted a roster that will have trouble winning. Opponents are likely to enjoy beating them on a weekly basis, as this team is projected to finish 10th in Double Stuff Racing League. On the bright side, the team is particularly talented at the receiver position, as DeAndre Hopkins and Amari Cooper are expected to combine for the 3rd-highest point total of all starting WR groups in the league. I’m Pickle Rick! are looking at a record of 4-9 (1,842 points).

  • Sammy Watkins

Biggest Steal: I’m Pickle Rick! scored a great late-round bargain when they chose Watkins in the 15th round, about four rounds later than his ADP of 127. Coming off a season in which he hauled in 52 passes for 673 yards and 3 TDs in 13 games, totaling 119 fantasy points, Watkins is projected to score 162 fantasy points with the Chiefs. That makes him the No. 6 WR for this squad.

  • J.K. Dobbins

Going out on a Limb: Either you know something everybody else doesn't or you jumped the gun with your selection of Dobbins with the 9th pick in the 6th round, about 21 spots earlier than his ADP of 90. Dobbins is projected to score 192 fantasy points this season with the Ravens. Dobbins will slot in as the No. 3 RB for I’m Pickle Rick!, based on projections.

Draft Notes

  • I’m Pickle Rick! are in for a rude awakening in Week 10 when they have four players on a bye (Amari Cooper, Sammy Watkins, Michael Badgley, and Kansas City). Perhaps leveling the playing field, My QB is Blk-No Kaep, your Week 10 opponent, will be confronting a similar quandary with three players (Todd Gurley II, Mike Williams, and Younghoe Koo) on a bye week.

  • According to projections, I’m Pickle Rick! have one of the lightest schedules in the late stages in Double Stuff Racing League with a strength of schedule for the last three weeks rated as the 3rd easiest. In spite of that, for the full season, I’m Pickle Rick! face a pretty fair schedule rated as the 4th toughest.

  • Whatever the plan going into the draft, it couldn't have involved amassing such a weak group of stars, as I’m Pickle Rick! put together a collection of players that might have more talent on the bench. Combined, the top players from each position are projected to score the 3rd-fewest points in Double Stuff Racing League. Fortunately, the rest of the roster is predicted to pick up the slack and combine for a point total that ranks 1st.

  • Despite an unfilled slot at QB in the 6th round, I’m Pickle Rick! chose RB J.K. Dobbins with the 69th pick, filling the WR/RB flex position at the expense of a more important position.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
