James lose to Coop in 100.06-74.16 rout

James failed to rise to the occasion, coming up short of their projected point total, as Coop rolled to a 100.06-74.16 win. James got out to a 3.44-point lead early Sunday afternoon, but it was all Coop after that. They were led by Nick Chubb (23.3 points) and Alvin Kamara (18.9). Philip Rivers (244 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs) and Nyheim Hines (58 Rush Yds, 17 Rec Yds) carried the flag for James in defeat. This marks the second time this season Coop have gotten the best of James, after winning 113.8-82.38 in their last matchup. Coop (9-5) will look to keep it rolling in the playoffs. James will be home for the playoffs, finishing the season at 7-7.

Coach Talk

Coop
Listen, Coop, we do certainly appreciate the confidence. Rolling out not one, but TWO players with zero points (Mike Williams and the Minnesota Vikings defense), while still earning the W... talk about arrogant. We just ask you to please keep that flashy, show-off type of stuff to the regular season. Do it when the postseason rolls around, and we're toast.
James
Well, we certainly can't complain about a lack of opportunities this time, can we? As a group, our pass-catching corps (two WR and one TE) were targeted a healthy 20 times in Week 14. With just 10 total receptions, this group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
