STEEL CURTAIN top expectations, knock off X-Factor in 136.5-94.5 rout
STEEL CURTAIN outperformed their projected point total, cruising to a 136.5-94.5 victory over X-Factor, who fell short of projections. X-Factor grabbed a 14.0-point lead on Thursday, but it was all STEEL CURTAIN after that. They were led by Teddy Bridgewater (313 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs) and Todd Gurley II (121 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 29 Rec Yds). Adam Thielen (9 Rec, 80 Rec Yds, 2 Rec TDs) and Tyreek Hill (15 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 78 Rec Yds) led the way for X-Factor in the loss. STEEL CURTAIN (2-3) will look to keep it rolling against BROOKLYN ZOO, while X-Factor (1-4) will match up against Cocktails and Dreams in an effort to right the ship.
Gurley II overachieved for the second time this season, scoring 22 points against his 11.98-point projection. In a 23-16 loss to the Panthers, he racked up 150 yards from scrimmage and ran for a touchdown. Gurley II ranks #39 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Vikings next week.
Sunday Early
Both teams had players with highlight-reel plays early Sunday, but it was STEEL CURTAIN who took the lead, 74.0-53.5. Teddy Bridgewater had a 57-yard touchdown pass for STEEL CURTAIN, while Todd Gurley II had a 35-yard touchdown run. Tyreek Hill made the highlight reel for X-Factor with a 58-yard catch.

Wil Lutz had a 53-yard field goal for STEEL CURTAIN on Monday night, helping to pad the margin of victory for the team.

In a matchup between teams separated by just a game in the standings, STEEL CURTAIN (2-3) will go up against BROOKLYN ZOO (3-2) in Week 6. STEEL CURTAIN might have to rearrange their lineup some with Wil Lutz, the Seattle Seahawks defense, and Greg Olsen out on bye in Week 6. BROOKLYN ZOO will be without Jason Myers. Over the last two weeks, STEEL CURTAIN have put up 118.5 points per game, while BROOKLYN ZOO have averaged 109 per contest.
X-Factor
Coming up in Week 6, 11th-place X-Factor (1-4) are due to take on ninth-place Cocktails and Dreams (2-3). X-Factor may have to shuffle the deck some with Tre'Quan Smith out on bye next week. Cocktails and Dreams will be without Emmanuel Sanders, Darren Waller, and Tyler Lockett.
