StatSmack

This wasn't even their best effort. Lightning Bolts scored fewer points in this one (76.76) than their season average of 100.15.
Cameron's Team would be doing great, if the goal was to lose. They've dropped their last four matchups.
We heard scoring helps you win. Lightning Bolts are doing a better job of that, averaging 100.15 versus Cameron's Team's 92.79.
"Winning isn't everything" was probably said by someone who lost. Lightning Bolts (3-5) have a better record than Cameron's Team (1-7).
You won't win many matchups if you don't play. Cameron's Team has left more points on the bench this season (349.54) than Lightning Bolts (255.96).
Lightning Bolts should change their team name to "The Overachievers" since they have scored higher than projected in more weeks than Cameron's Team (3 vs 2).
Lightning Bolts have started more fantasy players who beat their projected score than Cameron's Team (29 vs 21).
By position, Lightning Bolts have outscored Cameron's Team at QB, RB, TE, and DEF this season.
There's not much good to say about Cameron's Team this week. Maybe they'll get their act together, and we'll see something different next week!

Coach Talk

Lightning Bolts
Listen Lightning Bolts, I'm a "glass half full" kind of coach. While others may harp on the fact that our scoring's decreased a bit lately, I'll choose to spin this in a positive direction. Averaging 103.49 points through Week 7, our crew has obviously proven that it's even stronger than the 76.76 we needed to win this past week!
Cameron's Team
There's a decent chance that Cameron's Team may be a better talent scout in the NFL than in fantasy football. Seeing only 13 targets as a group in Week 8, their four starting pass-catchers (three WR, one TE) apparently made most of their contributions by running decoy routes and blocking downfield.
