Rook Squad beat Wentz About It for fifth straight win in 137.96-76.58 rout

Rook Squad extended their win streak to five games with a convincing win over Wentz About It, cruising to a 137.96-76.58 victory. It was the third consecutive loss for Wentz About It. This one was over almost as soon as it started, as Rook Squad leapt out to a 36.92-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind standout showings from Corey Davis and Justin Jefferson. Davis caught 11 passes for 182 yards and a touchdown for 31.7 points, while Jefferson caught 9 passes for 121 yards and a touchdown (24.8 points). Taysom Hill (23.58 points) and James Robinson (19.8) did their part for Wentz About It in defeat. This marks the second time this season Rook Squad have taken down Wentz About It, after winning 142.14-126.32 in their last matchup. Rook Squad (8-5) will look to keep it rolling in the playoffs. Wentz About It will be home for the playoffs, finishing the season at 4-9.

Hey, we'll definitely take the win, Rook Squad! Having said that, if we want to ramp our performance up to the next level, then here's one area where we can improve; our QB was utterly outclassed this past week. Taysom Hill went 27-of-37 for 232 yards and two touchdowns for Wentz About It, and all Justin Herbert could produce was a 26-for-53 day for 209 passing yards and two ugly interceptions. Let's put some extra effort into scouting those upcoming defenses!

Well, we can't really complain about a shortage of opportunities this week, can we? As a group, our pass-catching corps (three WR, one TE) were targeted a grand total of 21 times in Week 13. Chemistry and timing appear to be issues as that group pulled down just nine balls.
