Despite top scorer Prescott, BOOM! fall to U-25 All-Stars in 111.88-107.30 battle
Dak Prescott accumulated 39.8 points for BOOM!, the best total in the matchup and second-best in the league this week, but it wasn't enough to vanquish U-25 All-Stars, who staged a comeback for a 111.88-107.30 victory. Trailing 107.30-105.88 heading into Sunday night, U-25 All-Stars rallied behind the New England Patriots defense (35 Pts Allowed, 429 Yds Allowed, 1 Turnovers). Dak Prescott (450 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 18 Rush Yds, 3 Rush TDs) and Tyler Higbee (5 Rec, 54 Rec Yds, 3 Rec TDs) did their part for BOOM! in the loss. U-25 All-Stars (2-0) will look to sustain their momentum against Jake's Swag Team, while BOOM! (1-1) will try to get some positive momentum against SLEEPYHEADS.
Against the Cowboys in Week 2, Ridley scored 22.9 points to more-than-double his 11.38-point projection. He caught 7 passes for 109 yards and 2 touchdowns to beat his projection by the highest percentage of any player on U-25 All-Stars this week. Ridley will go up against the Bears in Week 3.
Sunday Early
Both teams had several players with highlight-reel plays early Sunday, but it was BOOM! who took the lead, 107.30-98.88. Tom Brady had a 23-yard touchdown pass and a 50-yard pass for U-25 All-Stars, while Calvin Ridley had a 22-yard touchdown catch. Meanwhile, Dak Prescott had a 58-yard pass for BOOM!, while Tyler Higbee had a 28-yard touchdown catch.
U-25 All-Stars
Sure, we ultimately got the win, but we can't deny it, U-25 All-Stars. Our QB was severely outclassed this past week. Dak Prescott went 34-of-47 for 450 yards and one touchdowns for BOOM!, and all Tom Brady could manage through the air was 217 yards, one TD, and an ugly interception. Let's work overtime to get on the same page with our receivers this week!
BOOM!
Well, BOOM!, Week 2's problem is pretty easy to diagnose. Going with Anthony Miller in what turned out to be a tight fantasy matchup... let's attempt to play with a full deck of cards next time.
