If you can't handle the heat, get out of the draft room. Eli's Team folded under the pressure of this draft. Picking No. 11 overall, they were clearly ill-equipped. On a positive note, the team is particularly deep at wide receiver, as Tyreek Hill and Mike Evans are expected to combine for the 2nd-highest point total of all starting WR groups in the league. Eli's Team are projected to finish 10th in Hiawatha Premier League with a record of 5-8 (1,492 points).

  • Ryan Tannehill

Top Player: The QB is expected to rack up the highest point total this year of all the selections by Eli's Team. Coming off a season in which he threw for 2,742 yards and 22 TDs with 6 INTs in 12 games, totaling 230 fantasy points, Tannehill is projected to score 287 fantasy points with the Titans, a 25% improvement. That makes him a valuable No. 1 QB for this squad.

  • Marvin Jones Jr.

Stretch Pick: Everyone, it seems, is a self-declared fantasy expert these days, so there's no telling what led you to choose Jones Jr. with the 2nd pick in the 6th round, about four rounds earlier than his ADP of 114. Projected to score 133 fantasy points this season with the Lions, he'll attempt to match last year when he hauled in 62 balls for 779 yards and 9 TDs over 13 games, posting 132 fantasy points. Jones Jr. will slot in as the No. 3 WR for Eli's Team, according to projected points.

Draft Notes

  • With the selections of Kenyan Drake, Chase Edmonds, and Zane Gonzalez, Eli's Team had more Cardinals than any other team in Hiawatha Premier League. League-wide, the most popular team was the Vikings, as nine of them were selected in the draft.

  • Week 8 will bring a difficult challenge for Eli's Team, as they have five players on a bye (Kenyan Drake, Mark Ingram II, J.K. Dobbins, Zane Gonzalez, and Chase Edmonds). Fear not: your Week 8 opponent -- Patrick Mahomeless -- will also be facing their worst bye week with five players getting the week off.

  • Based on projected records, Eli's Team have one of the best schedules in the late stages in Hiawatha Premier League with a second-half strength of schedule rated as the 3rd easiest. Even so, for the full season, Eli's Team have drawn a fairly balanced schedule rated as the 7th toughest.

  • In spite of an opening remaining at TE in the 6th round, Eli's Team drafted WR Marvin Jones Jr. with the 62nd pick, filling the WR/RB flex position at the expense of a higher leverage position.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
