Despite a Few Steals, U-25 All-Stars Have the Look of a Cellar Dweller
Draft Summary
If U-25 All-Stars handles pressure during the season the way they did in this draft, it's going to be a tough year. Picking No. 9 overall, they were clearly ill-equipped. U-25 All-Stars are projected to finish 12th in Hiawatha Premier League with a record of 3-10 (1,513 points).
- Jalen Reagor
Biggest Steal
U-25 All-Stars notched a nice late-round value with the selection of Reagor in the 14th round, about four rounds later than his ADP of 125. Reagor is projected to score 141 fantasy points with the Eagles, making him the No. 5 WR for this squad.
- Antonio Gibson
Going out on a Limb
Everyone thinks they're the next fantasy expert nowadays, so there's no telling who led you to choose Gibson with the 4th pick in the 8th round, about two rounds earlier than his ADP of 121. Gibson is projected to score 68 fantasy points this season with the Redskins. Based on projected points, Gibson will slot in as the No. 4 RB for U-25 All-Stars to begin the season.
Draft Notes
-
Patience is a virtue. You were the last manager in the league to draft a quarterback and tight end with Tom Brady (No. 105 overall) and Chris Herndon (No. 136 overall).
-
U-25 All-Stars face a tough task in Week 10 when they have five players on a bye (Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Michael Gallup, Calvin Ridley, Younghoe Koo, and Los Angeles). Waynes Wacky Weasels, your Week 10 opponent, won't be quite as short-handed with only one player (Hayden Hurst) on a bye week.
-
U-25 All-Stars have one of the most challenging schedules in Hiawatha Premier League this season according to projected records with a strength of schedule rated as the 2nd-most difficult. Don't lose hope, though. You can't control strength of schedule, but you can control your team. There are countless means to improve your team during the season for managers who stay involved.
-
With the youngest group in the league at an average of 3.7 years of NFL experience, U-25 All-Stars have assembled a fairly young squad. Driving home that point, they selected four rookies (Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Cam Akers, Antonio Gibson, and Jalen Reagor), the highest total of first-year players in the league. In total, there were 15 rookies selected over the course of the Hiawatha Premier League draft.

How We Grade
Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
