Blessed with the No. 1 overall pick, Aaron's Amazing Team had an excellent performance. With Christian McCaffrey and Miles Sanders expected to combine for the highest point total of all starting RB groups in the league, Aaron's Amazing Team are projected to finish 3rd in Hiawatha Premier League with a record of 9-4 (1,632 points).

  • Darius Slayton

Biggest Steal: What a late-round value for Aaron's Amazing Team, who picked up Slayton in the 12th round, about two rounds later than his ADP of 117. After a rookie season in which he snagged 48 balls for 740 yards and 8 TDs in 14 games, totaling 122 fantasy points, Slayton is projected to score 135 fantasy points with the Giants. That makes him a valuable No. 4 WR for this squad.

  • Latavius Murray

Regression Candidate: The RB is expected to have the most trouble living up to last year among the offensive selections by Aaron's Amazing Team. After a season in which he ran for 637 yards and 5 TDs and had 34 catches for 235 yards and 1 TD, totaling 123 fantasy points, Murray is projected to score 94 fantasy points with the Saints, a 24% drop. That makes him the No. 5 RB for this squad.

Draft Notes

  • Aaron's Amazing Team face a tough task in Week 11 when they have four players on a bye (DeVante Parker, Le'Veon Bell, Darius Slayton, and Matt Breida). Your Week 11 opponent, Packer backers, won't be quite as short-handed with only one player (Brandon Aiyuk) on a bye week.

  • Going off projected records, Aaron's Amazing Team have a fairly balanced schedule in Hiawatha Premier League this season with a strength of schedule ranked as the 4th best.

  • Aaron's Amazing Team have assembled a fairly balanced lineup with an average of 5 years of NFL experience, ranking in the middle of the pack for the league. Some experience is preferred, though, as they didn't pick any of the 15 rookies drafted.

  • Despite unfilled positions at QB and TE in the 5th round, Aaron's Amazing Team drafted RB Le'Veon Bell with the 49th pick, filling the WR/RB flex position instead of a more important position. They were the earliest squad to fill a flex position.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
