Minor Prophets turned a solid draft slot (No. 6 overall) into a respectable performance. The team is especially tough at receiver, as DeAndre Hopkins and Kenny Golladay are expected to combine for the 2nd-highest point total of all starting WR groups in the league. Minor Prophets are projected to finish 8-5 (1,602 points), which would place them 4th in Hiawatha Elite League.

  • Carson Wentz

Top Player: Of all the picks by Minor Prophets, Wentz is prepared to rack up the most points this season. Following a season in which he threw for 4,039 yards and 27 TDs with 7 interceptions, totaling 283 fantasy points, Wentz is projected to score 320 fantasy points with the Eagles, a 13% jump. That makes him a valuable No. 1 QB for this squad.

  • Zach Ertz

Regression Candidate: The TE seems poised to have the most trouble living up to last year of all the offensive selections by Minor Prophets. Following a season in which he hauled in 88 passes for 916 yards and 6 TDs, totaling 128 fantasy points, Ertz is projected to score 119 fantasy points with the Eagles, a 7% drop. That would still make him the No. 1 TE for this squad.

Draft Notes

  • Minor Prophets will be all in on the Cardinals this season, as the selections of DeAndre Hopkins, Chase Edmonds, and Zane Gonzalez give them three players from Arizona, more than any other team in Hiawatha Elite League. League-wide, the most popular team was the Cowboys, as eight of them were selected in the draft.

  • Week 8 could be a rude awakening for Minor Prophets, as they have four players on a bye (DeAndre Hopkins, Zane Gonzalez, Pittsburgh, and Chase Edmonds). Layne Ducks, your Week 8 opponent, won't be nearly as short-handed with only two players (Brandin Cooks and Duke Johnson) getting the week off.

  • Minor Prophets have one of the lightest schedules in Hiawatha Elite League this season based on projections with a strength of schedule that ranks as the 2nd easiest.

  • In spite of an open slot at QB in the 6th round, Minor Prophets drafted WR T.Y. Hilton at No. 67, filling the WR/RB flex position instead of a more important position.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
