RidgeRunners succumb to Suck ItTrebek, 93.54-86.22
There's no sugarcoating it, RidgeRunners underperformed, at least according to projections, as Suck ItTrebek came out on top with a 93.54-86.22 win. Suck ItTrebek earned an early 8.10-point lead on Thursday. RidgeRunners bounced back to take the lead during the early slate on Sunday, powered by A.J. Brown (19.2 points) and Kenyan Drake (15). Unphased, Suck ItTrebek pulled it together later that afternoon, as Russell Wilson (28.14 points) and Jason Myers (11) put them back in the lead once and for all. This marks the first time this season Suck ItTrebek have beaten RidgeRunners, after falling 90.3-79.48 in their last matchup. Suck ItTrebek will look to keep winning in next week's semifinal round, while RidgeRunners seek to rebound and lock up 5th Place.
Projected to score 9.41 points, Myers scored 16.9% more than that amount by scoring 11 points as the Seahawks beat the Jets 40-3. He made both of his FG attempts to beat his projection by the highest percentage of any player on Suck ItTrebek this week. Next week, Myers will go up against the Football Team.

Here's a list of scenarios where it's acceptable to go 0-for-2 in sports: A double-fault in tennis, a hitter's line in baseball, and the Jazz facing MJ's Bulls in the Finals. That's just about it. Going 0-for-2 on field goal attempts this past week? Sounds like Wil Lutz may have just toe-bashed himself back into the free agent pool after this effort.
