Despite top scorer Hill, NYC fall to Bigblue, 66-63
NYC had the No. 1 scorer in the matchup with WR Tyreek Hill racking up 16 points, the 13th-highest total in the league this week, but it wasn't enough to overcome Bigblue, who came from behind for a 66-63 victory. Trailing 62-56 heading into Sunday night, Bigblue came storming back behind Travis Fulgham (9 points) and Jake Elliott (1). Tyreek Hill (4 Rec, 98 Rec Yds, 2 Rec TDs) and Lamar Jackson (208 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs, 65 Rush Yds) carried the flag for NYC in the loss. Bigblue (2-6) will look to get another win against Top shotta, while NYC (3-5) will attempt to right the ship against Brooklyn Bandits.
Woods overachieved for the sixth time this season, scoring 16 points against his 4.82-point projection. In a 28-17 loss to the Dolphins, he caught 7 passes for 85 yards and a touchdown. Woods ranks #45 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Seahawks next week.
Bigblue
Bigblue (2-6) will square off against Top shotta (4-4) in Week 9. Each of these teams has multiple bye weeks to consider in Week 9, as Robert Woods, Travis Fulgham, and Jake Elliott are off for Bigblue, while Top shotta will be missing Carson Wentz, Baker Mayfield, and D'Ernest Johnson. Over the last three weeks, Bigblue have put up 58.67 points per game, while Top shotta have averaged 72.67 per contest.
NYC
Coming up in Week 9, NYC (3-5) will look to bounce back against Brooklyn Bandits (5-2-1). NYC might need to shuffle the deck some with Rashard Higgins out on bye in Week 9. Brooklyn Bandits won't have Jared Goff, Tyler Boyd, or Boston Scott.
