Coach Talk

The Overkiller's
Creating mismatches is a huge component to winning in football. Fueled by some monster yardage production from our running backs, our team created a big disparity this week. Our three backfield starters recorded 172 more total yards than the RBs on PIERMONSTERS (319 yards from scrimmage to 147), and we ended up almost tripling them at the position, 68.9 points to 24.7.
PIERMONSTERS
Unless PIERMONSTERS wants to go full diva-mode, then "not getting many opportunities" won't cut it as an excuse this time around. Our pass-catching corps (five WR, one TE) collectively received a grand total of 33 targets in Week 8. Chemistry could be the primary problem, as that group notched just 20 receptions.
