Dirty 54 succumb to LIONPWR, 233.35-178.20
There's no way around it, Dirty 54 dropped the ball, at least according to projections, as LIONPWR secured a 233.35-178.20 win. Dirty 54 earned a 14.00-point lead on Thursday, but LIONPWR held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Aaron Jones (168 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs, 68 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Christian McCaffrey (59 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs, 29 Rec Yds). Kareem Hunt (24.1 points) and Lamar Jackson (21.6) carried the flag for Dirty 54 in the loss. LIONPWR (1-1) will look to sustain their winning ways against Doc's Devils, while Dirty 54 (0-2) face The Overkiller's in an effort to right the ship.
Jones racked up 236 yards from scrimmage and scored 3 touchdowns as the Packers beat the Lions 42-21. In doing so, he put up 45.6 points to more-than-double his 17.65-point projection, the highest percent increase of any player on LIONPWR this week. Next week, Jones will square off against the Saints.
LIONPWR
Assembling a lineup that registered over 233 points this past week... we did what we had to do and took care of business. We should tip our cap to the GM of Dirty 54, take this win in stride, and continue our march towards the Motor City Football league championship.
Dirty 54
We just took it easy so our players could dominate in next week, right? The nine starting offensive position players on Dirty 54 (five WRs, three RBs, one TE) combined to register 540 yards and just three touchdowns in Week 2. The skill players on LIONPWR made it tough on us by logging 799 yards and seven scores.
