Chicago Bears beat GB Packers (JP) for fourth straight win in 44-14 rout

Despite similar records, Chicago Bears held a significant season point advantage over GB Packers (JP) coming into this one (228-173), and they lived up to their reputation with an easy win, cruising to a 44-14 victory. There wasn't much drama in this one, as Chicago Bears leapt out to a 12-point lead on Thursday behind 11 points from Cairo Santos (2-2 FG, 47 long, 2-2 XP) and Jimmy Graham (3 Rec, 33 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD). Dan Bailey and Jonnu Smith (5 Rec, 40 Rec Yds, 2 Rec TDs) did everything they could for GB Packers (JP) in the loss. Chicago Bears (4-1) have now won four consecutive matchups and will look to notch another W against Denver Broncos. GB Packers (JP) (3-2) will try to right the ship against Hou Texans (GA).

Coach Talk

Chicago Bears
You know what, Chicago Bears, we do appreciate the confidence. It's a bold move to roll out, not one, but TWO players with zero points (DJ Chark Jr. and Anthony Miller), while still earning the W. All we ask is to please limit those flashy shenanigans to the early regular season. Can you imagine how silly we'd look if we let it happen in the playoffs?
GB Packers (JP)
Well, we can't really complain about a lack of opportunities this week, can we? Our four pass-catchers (two WR, two TE) were targeted a healthy 28 times in Week 5. With just 14 total catches, this group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
