Denver Broncos come up short of expectations, lose to New Orleans Saints in 35-7 rout

There's no sugarcoating it, Denver Broncos underperformed, at least based on projections, as New Orleans Saints cruised to a 35-7 victory. Denver Broncos took the first lead in the matchup on Sunday afternoon, but it was all New Orleans Saints after that. They were led by Wil Lutz, who made all 3 of his FG attempts for 12 points, and Drew Brees, who passed for 288 yards and 3 touchdowns (10 points). Brandon McManus (1-1 FG, 56 long, 1-1 XP) and the Denver Broncos defense (28 Pts Allowed, 353 Yds Allowed) led the charge for Denver Broncos in the loss. New Orleans Saints (2-1) will look to get another W against Cincinnati Bengals, while Denver Broncos (1-2) will try to get back on track against Los Angeles Rams.
