Dallas Cowboys earn win against New York Giants in 41-26 rout

Dallas Cowboys rose to the occasion and exceeded their projected point total, cruising to a 41-26 win over New York Giants, who fell short of projections. New York Giants leapt out to a 26-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind outstanding efforts from the Baltimore Ravens defense, who allowed only 13 points and gave up 269 yards for 8 points, and Lamar Jackson, who passed for 183 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 80 yards (7 points). But it was all Dallas Cowboys after that. They were led by Greg Zuerlein, who made all 3 of his FG attempts for 13 points, and CeeDee Lamb, who racked up 84 yards from scrimmage and scored 2 touchdowns (10 points). This marks the first time this season Dallas Cowboys have gotten the best of New York Giants, after falling 40-15 in their last matchup. Dallas Cowboys improve to 7-9 for the season, while New York Giants fall to 9-7.

Coach Talk

Dallas Cowboys
Listen, Dallas Cowboys, we do certainly respect the confidence. Starting not one, but TWO players with zero points (Blake Jarwin and Dak Prescott), while still earning the win... that's borderline cocky! We just ask you to please keep that flashy, show-off type of stuff to the regular season. Do it when the postseason rolls around, and we'll be done.
New York Giants
New York Giants will find it tough to gripe about lack of opportunities this past week. As a group, our pass-catching corps (two WR, two TE) were targeted a whopping 43 times in Week 16. With only 25 total receptions, this group may be showing signs of chemistry issues.
