Jersey Sopranos knock off Hainers in 99-75 rout

Jersey Sopranos rose to the occasion, rolling to a 99-75 win over Hainers, who fell short of projections. Hainers earned a 4-point lead on Saturday behind Kenyan Drake (9 points) and George Kittle (6), but Jersey Sopranos held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Davante Adams, who caught 11 passes for 142 yards and 3 touchdowns for 27 points, and Russell Wilson, who passed for 225 yards and a touchdown (19 points). David Montgomery (95 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 26 Rec Yds) and Jaylon Smith (11 Tackles) did their part for Hainers in the loss. This marks the second time this season Jersey Sopranos have gotten the best of Hainers, after winning 122-71 in their last matchup. Jersey Sopranos (8-8) will look to get another win against Warhawks, while Hainers (8-8) meet Miller Time in an effort to get back in the win column.

Coach Talk

Jersey Sopranos
You know, the key to football is exploiting the mismatches. We really took that to heart this week by doubling up Hainers at the wide receiver position (35 points to 17).
Hainers
Talk about under-utilized: The starting backfield for Hainers collectively logged just four targets this past week. Tell those quarterbacks to dump it down a little more often in Week 17!
