Despite top scorer Jones II, Big Blue fall to Ram's Den in 179.6-175.2 battle
Ronald Jones II accumulated 36.6 points for Big Blue, the best total in the matchup and sixth-best in the league this week, but it wasn't enough to vanquish Ram's Den, who narrowly earned a 179.6-175.2 victory. It wasn't nearly as close as the final score indicates, as Ram's Den led 169.7-131.3 heading into Monday night. Big Blue came roaring back behind Clyde Edwards-Helaire (31.9 points) and Zane Gonzalez (8). Carson Wentz (213 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs, 49 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD) and Lamar Jackson (186 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 108 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD) led the way for Ram's Den in the victory. This marks the first time this season Ram's Den have gotten the best of Big Blue, after falling 192.53-188.67 in their last matchup. Ram's Den (4-2) will look to keep it rolling against Greyhound Express, while Big Blue (3-3) will face Newbies Rule in an effort to get back on track.
While passing for 213 yards , running for 49 yards and scoring 3 touchdowns against the Ravens, Wentz registered 36.5 points this week. His scoring output was 82.2% more than his 20.03-point projection and was much higher than his 23.3-point season scoring average. Wentz ranks #10 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Giants next week.
