Thunderstorm hand Warriors of Angels fifth consecutive loss in 131-111 rout

Thunderstorm rolled to a 131-111 victory to hand Warriors of Angels their fifth consecutive loss to open the season. It didn't take long to figure out who would be the frontrunner in the matchup, as Thunderstorm took a 48-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind impressive performances from Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins. Murray passed for 380 yards , ran for 31 yards and scored 2 touchdowns for 48 points, while Hopkins caught 6 passes for 131 yards and a touchdown (25 points). Ezekiel Elliott (23 points) and A.J. Brown (21) did everything they could for Warriors of Angels in the loss. Thunderstorm (2-3) will look to keep it rolling against Caribbean Bombers, while Warriors of Angels (0-5) will face off against Aida Wildcats in an effort to generate some positive momentum.
