Climhazzard fall short of predictions, succumb to DHP, 200.48-177.23
Climhazzard failed to bring their A game, coming up short of projections, as DHP secured a 200.48-177.23 win. Climhazzard earned a 9.25-point lead on Thursday, but DHP held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Josh Allen, who racked up 334 yards of total offense and scored 3 touchdowns for 48.51 points, and Josh Jacobs, who racked up 136 yards from scrimmage and ran for 2 touchdowns (29.7 points). Daniel Jones (244 Pass Yds, 64 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD) and Alvin Kamara (15 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs, 83 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) led the way for Climhazzard in the loss. DHP (6-4) will look to earn another win against Covid Bombers, while Climhazzard (5-5) will attempt to get back in the win column against THE WHOLE F'N SHOW.
While making all 3 of his FG attempts against the Broncos, Carlson put up 16 points this week. His scoring output was 75.2% more than his 9.13-point projection and was higher than his 11.67-point season scoring average. Carlson ranks #76 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Chiefs next week.
Sunday Early
Daniel Jones had a 34-yard touchdown run and a 40-yard pass for Climhazzard to contribute to a 73.61-39.55 lead for the team.
Sunday Late
There were players with big-time plays for both teams on Sunday afternoon, but after all the points were tallied, Climhazzard boasted a 167.23-166.66 lead. Josh Allen had a 22-yard touchdown pass and a 21-yard touchdown pass for DHP, while Daniel Carlson had a 52-yard field goal. Joe Burrow made the highlight reel for Climhazzard with a 54-yard pass.
DHP
You know DHP, the good news is that we won this matchup by over 23 points. The *even better* news is that we know we're better than this... in fact, our team's scoring average through Week 9 stood at 218.56. So yes, we're happy to have gotten this victory, but let's also get back up to where we know we can be!
Climhazzard
"Not getting enough opportunities" shouldn't really be an excuse this week for Climhazzard. Our pass-catching corps (four WR, one TE) collectively got a whopping 27 targets in Week 10. Timing and chemistry appear to be issues as that group reeled in just 15 catches.
