Blessed with a solid draft position (No. 7 overall), expectations were high for ExigentCircumstances. Then they drafted, and those expectations disappeared quickly, as this team looks to be on pace for a mediocre 8th-place finish in OklahomIraqis League PFC. Behind multiple Buccaneers in the early rounds (Chris Godwin and Leonard Fournette), ExigentCircumstances are projected to post a record of 5-8 (2,444 points).

  • Dak Prescott

Biggest Steal: What a tremendous early-round bargain for ExigentCircumstances, who got Prescott in the 5th round, about 18 slots later than his ADP of 45. After a season in which he threw for 4,902 yards and 30 TDs with 11 interceptions, totaling 447 fantasy points, Prescott is projected to score 446 fantasy points with the Cowboys. That makes him a valuable No. 1 QB for this squad.

  • Diontae Johnson

Going out on a Limb: There are millions of self-declared fantasy experts nowadays, so there's no telling who inspired you to choose Johnson with the 7th pick in the 7th round, about 18 picks earlier than his ADP of 109. Granted, you may be onto something? Projected to score 223 fantasy points this season with the Steelers, he appears set to take a step forward from his rookie year when he recorded 59 receptions for 680 yards and 5 TDs, posting 176 fantasy points. Based on projected points, Johnson will slot in as the No. 3 WR for ExigentCircumstances to begin the season.

Draft Notes

  • With only two quarterbacks off the board, ExigentCircumstances foresaw a run and got in early, taking Dak Prescott with the 63rd pick. Five more quarterbacks went in the subsequent round.

  • ExigentCircumstances are in for a rude awakening in Week 8 when they have five players on a bye (Diontae Johnson, Steven Sims Jr., Phillip Lindsay, Anthony McFarland Jr., and Andy Isabella). FDC Chiefs, your Week 8 opponent, will have three players (Antonio Gibson, Brandin Cooks, and Chris Boswell) on the sideline.

  • According to projections, ExigentCircumstances have one of the hardest schedules early in the season in OklahomIraqis League PFC with a first-half strength of schedule rated as the 3rd-most difficult. Even so, for the full season, ExigentCircumstances should expect a pretty fair path rated as the 5th hardest.

  • ExigentCircumstances are leading the youth movement, putting together a squad with an average of 3.4 years of NFL experience, ranking as the youngest group in the league. Demonstrating their commitment to youth, they selected two rookies (Joshua Kelley and Anthony McFarland Jr.). In total, there were 25 rookies selected over the course of the OklahomIraqis League PFC draft.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
