Drones hand Warriors fourth straight loss in 84.0-50.5 rout

Drones cruised to an 84.0-50.5 victory to hand Warriors their fourth consecutive loss. It didn't take long to learn who would have the advantage in this matchup, as Drones leapt out to a 32-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind a combined 27 points from Justin Jefferson (9 Rec, 121 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Dalvin Cook (120 Rush Yds, 59 Rec Yds). Cam Newton (15.5 points) and DK Metcalf (7) led the charge for Warriors in the loss. This marks the second time this season Drones have knocked off Warriors, after winning 76-63 in their last matchup. Drones (6-7) will look to keep it rolling against Assimilate THIS, while Warriors (2-11) will match up against Gritz Blitz in an effort to get back in the win column.

Coach Talk

Drones
Hey, football is all about creating mismatches, right? Fueled by stellar showings by Justin Jefferson and JuJu Smith-Schuster, our team really took that to heart this past week. We doubled up Warriors at wide receiver (22 points to 9). Jefferson had 121 receiving yards while Smith-Schuster logged 28 yards.
Warriors
Warriors may find it tough to gripe about lack of opportunities this past week. As a group, our two wide receivers were targeted a healthy 11 times in Week 13. Chemistry appears to be the primary issue, as that group managed only seven receptions.
