Back-and-forth battle ends with Old Leather Balls topping Cracklings in 122.24-82.14 rout

Well, that was exciting! After a back-and-forth matchup featuring three lead changes, Old Leather Balls cruised to a 122.24-82.14 victory to hand Cracklings their fifth straight loss to open the season. Cracklings nabbed an early 18.52-point lead on Thursday behind stellar performances from Nick Foles (14.62 points) and Mike Evans (10.1). Old Leather Balls came back to take the lead during the early games on Sunday, powered by stellar performances from Gardner Minshew II (25.84 points) and Miles Sanders (21.9). Not to be deterred, Cracklings pulled it together later that afternoon to take a 0.5-point lead behind Jason Sanders (20 points) and Odell Beckham Jr. (7.42). But Old Leather Balls came back again later that night, as Adam Thielen (20.3 points) and Will Dissly (7.9) put them back on top for good. Old Leather Balls (2-3) will look to sustain their winning ways against Stalin Colinet, while Cracklings (0-5) will try to develop some positive momentum against JABarcher.
