Old Leather Balls lose to Sayers Monsters in 122.54-78.10 rout

There's no way around it, Old Leather Balls didn't do their job, at least compared to projections, as Sayers Monsters rolled to a 122.54-78.10 win. Sayers Monsters pulled out to an early 11.38-point lead on Thursday. Old Leather Balls came back to take the lead early afternoon Sunday, powered by Miles Sanders (11.5 points) and Ryan Succop (9). Not to be deterred, Sayers Monsters made a run later that afternoon, as Alvin Kamara (27.8 points) and Tua Tagovailoa (19.66) put them back ahead once and for all. Sayers Monsters (7-3) will look to rack up another W against Cracklings, while Old Leather Balls (3-7) will attempt to get back in the win column against Iggles.

Coach Talk

Sayers Monsters
You know, football is all about exploiting the mismatches. Fueled by stout performances by Alvin Kamara and Malcolm Brown, our team definitely took that to heart this past week. We nearly tripled Old Leather Balls at the running back spot (44.9 points to 16.2). Kamara had 98 total yards and three TDs, while Brown logged 51 yards and two scores.
Old Leather Balls
Well, Old Leather Balls, this week's problem isn't exactly rocket science. Choosing to start Jalen Hurts in a tough fantasy matchup... we'll use this as an opportunity to get better and agree that it won't happen again.
