Desert Eagles defeat Keeper Reapers for third straight win, 90-74
Desert Eagles extended their win streak to three games with a hard-fought victory over Keeper Reapers, coming out on top with a 90-74 win. Desert Eagles jumped out to a 19-point lead on Thursday behind a combined 18 points from Rodrigo Blankenship (2-2 FG, 43 long, 4-4 XP) and Jonnu Smith (2 Rec, 14 Rec Yds) and never looked back. Cam Newton (118 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 21 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD) and Jason Sanders (3-4 FG, 50 long, 2-2 XP) carried the flag for Keeper Reapers in the loss. Desert Eagles (6-4) will look to sustain their winning ways against Maharaja Daughters, while Keeper Reapers (4-6) try to right the ship against Fools and Horses.
While catching 6 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown against the Bengals, Johnson tallied 17 points this week. His scoring output nearly doubled his 9.12-point projection and was much higher than his 6.2-point season scoring average. Johnson will face the Jaguars next week.
