Dingus defy predictions, earn win over Gronkie Kong🦧 in 170-125 rout
Dingus exceeded expectations, rolling to a 170-125 win over Gronkie Kong🦧, who fell short of projections. There wasn't much drama in this one, as Dingus grabbed a 60-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind a combined 80 points from Dak Prescott (450 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 18 Rush Yds, 3 Rush TDs) and Calvin Ridley (7 Rec, 109 Rec Yds, 2 Rec TDs). Aaron Jones (52 points) and John Brown (19) carried the flag for Gronkie Kong🦧 in defeat. Dingus (1-1) will look to rack up another win against The Cereal Killers, while Gronkie Kong🦧 (0-2) will face off against OLR in an effort to right the ship.
Prescott was one of six starters to overachieve for Dingus this week. He scored 48 points (450 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 18 Rush Yds, 3 Rush TDs) in a 40-39 win over the Falcons to more-than-double his 22.69-point projection. Prescott ranks #6 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Seahawks next week.
Sunday Early
There were multiple players with big-time plays for both teams early Sunday, but after the scoring was completed, Dingus emerged with a 154-94 lead. Dak Prescott had a 58-yard pass for Dingus, while Calvin Ridley had a 22-yard touchdown catch. Meanwhile, Aaron Jones had a 75-yard touchdown run for Gronkie Kong🦧, while John Brown had a 46-yard touchdown catch.
Dingus
Spotting mismatches is a huge component to winning in football. Fueled by an awesome performance from Dak Prescott, we almost tripled Gronkie Kong🦧 at the quarterback position this past week (48 points to 17). Prescott went 34-for-47 for 450 yards and one TD in a one-point win over the Falcons.
Gronkie Kong🦧
Unless Gronkie Kong🦧 wants to go diva-mode on us, then "not getting enough chances" isn't really an excuse this week. As a group, our five pass-catchers (four WR, one TE) were targeted a healthy 23 times in Week 2. With only 14 total catches, this group may be showing signs of chemistry issues.
