Unable to overcome starter's goose egg, deepball fall to Blazin Blitzers, 131-114

Hindered by a goose egg from Austin Hooper, deepball were unable to overcome Blazin Blitzers, which earned a 131-114 victory. Blazin Blitzers earned a 47-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind 69 points from Derrick Henry (215 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs) and A.J. Brown (7 Rec, 112 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and never looked back. Alvin Kamara (50 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 44 Rec Yds) and DK Metcalf (6 Rec, 61 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) did everything they could for deepball in the loss. This marks the first time this season Blazin Blitzers have beaten deepball, after falling 163-147 in their last matchup. Blazin Blitzers will look to not lose that winning feeling in the semifinal round next week, while deepball attempt to rebound and finish the season with a win in the 5th Place game.
