Nighthawks 11 earned a 129.27-112.22 victory to hand Shelley Showtime their third consecutive loss. Shelley Showtime nabbed a 17.50-point lead on Thursday, but Nighthawks 11 held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Deshaun Watson, who passed for 359 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 25 yards for 33.22 points, and Todd Gurley II, who racked up 150 yards from scrimmage and ran for a touchdown (19.5 points). Kyler Murray (380 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 31 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD) and Jason Sanders (5-5 FG, 50 long, 4-4 XP) led the charge for Shelley Showtime in the loss. Nighthawks 11 (2-3) will look to sustain their momentum against Virginia Paradise 2, while Shelley Showtime (2-3) match up against Duke Broncos#5 in an effort to get back in the win column.
Projected to score 9.19 points, Gurley II more-than-doubled that amount by scoring 19.5 points as the Falcons lost to the Panthers 23-16. He racked up 150 yards from scrimmage and ran for a touchdown to beat his projection by the highest percentage of any player on Nighthawks 11 this week. Gurley II will play the Vikings next week.

Nice job deploying a lineup that accounted for more than 129 points this past week. We consider that to be a job done right. Let's take this victory in stride, tip our cap to the GM of Shelley Showtime, and continue our march towards the Hail Mary KL VI $55 league championship.

Well, we can't really gripe about a shortage of opportunities this week, can we? Our pass-catching corps (four WR, one TE) collectively saw a healthy 39 targets in Week 5. With just 23 total receptions, this group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
