Offensively challenged AMMODOG defeat The Dogs of War, 105.5-91.1
AMMODOG secured a 105.5-91.1 victory over The Dogs of War in spite of posting only the 13th-highest point total in the league for the week. The Dogs of War earned a 3.7-point lead early Sunday afternoon, but AMMODOG held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Ryan Tannehill, who passed for 158 yards and 2 touchdowns for 20.2 points, and A.J. Brown, who caught 4 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown (20.1 points). Lamar Jackson (20.3 points) and the Tennessee Titans defense (14) carried the flag for The Dogs of War in the loss. AMMODOG (6-3) will look to sustain their winning ways against Dead Again, while The Dogs of War (2-7) will attempt to get back on track against Arrogant Americans.
While making all 3 of his FG attempts against the Football Team, Gano scored 13 points this week. His scoring output was 64.6% more than his 7.9-point projection and was much higher than his 7.25-point season scoring average. Gano ranks #98 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Eagles next week.
AMMODOG
Hey AMMODOG, the good news is that we won this matchup by over 14 points. The better news is that we've proven we're even better than this... as a matter of fact, our team's scoring average through Week 8 stood at 138.72. So yes, we're happy to have gotten this victory, but let's also "regress" back up to where we know we can be!
The Dogs of War
Unless The Dogs of War wants to go diva-mode on us, then "not getting enough looks" is definitely not an excuse this week. As a group, our six pass-catchers (four WR and two TE) collectively saw a grand total of 29 targets in Week 9. With just 14 total receptions, this group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
