Whackers received a solid draft position, and they coughed it up. Even though they had the No. 3 overall pick, they're projected to finish 12th in OklahomIraqis League NFC. Whackers are looking at a final record of 4-9 (2,295 points).

  • Baker Mayfield

Squad Star: Of all the selections by Whackers, Mayfield ought to rack up the most points in 2020. Following a season in which he threw for 3,827 yards and 22 TDs with 21 INTs, totaling 311 fantasy points, Mayfield is projected to score 375 fantasy points with the Browns, a 20% gain. That makes him a valuable No. 1 QB for this squad.

  • Gus Edwards

Regression Candidate: The RB is slated to have the hardest time living up to last year of all the offensive picks by Whackers. After a season in which he ran 133 times for 711 yards and 2 TDs, totaling 93 fantasy points, Edwards is projected to score 30 fantasy points with the Ravens, a 67% reduction. That makes him the No. 6 RB for this squad.

Draft Notes

  • Week 8 will be a rude awakening for Whackers, as they have four players on a bye (JuJu Smith-Schuster, James Washington, Denver, and Gus Edwards). On the bright side, your Week 8 opponent -- Soonerjack -- will also be facing their worst bye week with five players getting the week off.

  • With a strength of schedule that ranks as the 3rd-most difficult according to projected records, Whackers have one of the toughest schedules in OklahomIraqis League NFC this season. That doesn't mean you have to lose, though. You can't control strength of schedule, but you can control how active you are. Fantasy football rewards those managers who put in the work, so be sure to monitor the latest news and hottest must-add players.

  • With the oldest group in the league at an average of 6.1 years of NFL experience, Whackers are relying on veteran leadership. Driving that point home, they didn't pick any of the 26 rookies drafted.

  • Whatever the plan going into the draft, it surely didn't involve putting together such a limited group of top-line players. The top players from each position on Whackers, combined, are projected to score the 2nd-fewest points in OklahomIraqis League NFC. Unfortunately, the rest of the roster isn't any better, as those players are predicted to put up a point total that would rank as the 4th lowest.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
