Soonerjack turned a solid draft slot (No. 2 overall) into a respectable performance. With Saquon Barkley and David Johnson expected to combine for the 2nd-highest point total of all starting RB groups in the league, Soonerjack are projected to finish 8-5 (2,481 points), which would place them 6th in OklahomIraqis League NFC.
- Matt Ryan
Best of the Bunch: Of all the picks by Soonerjack, Ryan seems poised to earn the most points in 2020. After a season in which he threw for 4,466 yards and 26 TDs with 14 INTs, totaling 364 fantasy points, Ryan is projected to score 390 fantasy points with the Falcons, a 7% gain. That makes him a valuable No. 1 QB for this squad.
- David Johnson
Going out on a Limb: You might have gotten a bit too excited when deciding to choose Johnson at No. 30, about 27 slots earlier than his ADP of 57. Perhaps you're onto something, though. Projected to score 246 fantasy points this season with the Texans, he seems set to beat last year when he rushed for 345 yards and 2 TDs and recorded 36 receptions for 370 yards and 4 TDs over 12 games, posting 143 fantasy points. Johnson will slot in as the No. 2 RB for Soonerjack, based on projected points.
Draft Notes
-
Soonerjack went especially light at running back, selecting the fewest of any team in the league with just three, lagging the league average of 5.2.
-
Soonerjack are in for a rude awakening in Week 8 when they have five players on a bye (David Johnson, Diontae Johnson, Noah Fant, Larry Fitzgerald, and Chase Claypool). Perhaps leveling the playing field, your Week 8 opponent -- Whackers -- will also be confronting their worst bye week with four players getting the week off.
-
With a first-half strength of schedule ranked as the 4th-most difficult based on projections, Soonerjack have one of the most daunting schedules early in the season in OklahomIraqis League NFC. In spite of that, for the season as a whole, Soonerjack have drawn a fairly balanced path ranked as the 9th toughest.
-
In spite of openings on offense at QB, WR, and TE in the 3rd round, Soonerjack chose RB David Johnson with the 30th pick, filling the WR/RB flex position at the expense of a more important position. They were the earliest squad to make their first flex pick.

How We Grade
Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
