CoVid22 smirk at predictions, knock off Dark Horse in 116-85 rout

CoVid22 stepped up and outperformed expectations, cruising to a 116-85 win over Dark Horse, who fell short of projections. This one was over almost as soon as it started, as CoVid22 grabbed a 50-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind outstanding efforts from Mike Gesicki (21 points) and Ryan Tannehill (19). Nick Chubb (23 points) and the San Francisco 49ers defense (18) did everything they could for Dark Horse in defeat. This marks the second time this season CoVid22 have knocked off Dark Horse, after winning 117-93 in their last matchup. CoVid22 improve to 7-7 for the season, while Dark Horse fall to 3-11.

Coach Talk

CoVid22
Listen, CoVid22, we do certainly admire the confidence. Deploying not one, but TWO starters with zero points (Antonio Gibson and Christian McCaffrey), while still getting the W... that's borderline arrogant! All we ask is to please keep that flashy, show-off type of stuff to the regular season. Can you imagine how silly we'd look if we let it happen in the playoffs?
Dark Horse
Your starting QB tossed three interceptions and just a single touchdown? Maybe we should go back and review the game tape: Were the Chargers genuinely that stout against the pass, or was Matt Ryan just that sloppy from the pocket?
