Chiefs lose to Cleveland Browns in 137-133 battle despite outperforming expectations

Cleveland Browns fell short of projections while Chiefs rose to the occasion and beat their projected point total, but it wasn't enough to change the result. Predicted to win 146-116, Cleveland Browns narrowly earned a 137-133 victory over Chiefs. It wasn't nearly as close as the final score indicates, as Cleveland Browns led 96-69 heading into Monday night. Chiefs made them sweat behind Patrick Mahomes (35 points) and the Kansas City Chiefs defense (29). Cleveland Browns were led by Russell Wilson (360 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs) and the Green Bay Packers defense (16 Pts Allowed, 327 Yds Allowed). Cleveland Browns (2-2) will look to rack up another W against Django, while Chiefs (1-3) will attempt to develop some positive momentum against Cleveland Tomahawks.

Coach Talk

Cleveland Browns
A big key to success in football is exploiting the mismatches. Thanks to stellar performances by Jerick McKinnon and James Robinson, our squad certainly made that a point of emphasis this past week. We quadrupled Chiefs at running back (36 points to 9). McKinnon had 97 total yards and a TD, while Robinson chipped in with 107 yards.
Chiefs
It's entirely possible that Chiefs could be a better GM in the NFL than in fantasy football. With only eight targets combined this past week, their three wide receivers apparently spent most of their games blocking downfield and running decoy routes.
