Dustin's Team fall short of expectations, succumb to Matthew's Team, 113.04-49.40
There's no way around it, Dustin's Team dropped the ball, at least compared to projections, as Matthew's Team earned a 113.04-49.40 win. Matthew's Team took a 36.34-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind 50.74 points from Amari Cooper (12 Rec, 134 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Matthew Stafford (206 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs, 21 Rush Yds) and never looked back. Joe Burrow (16.1 points) and David Johnson (10.2) carried the flag for Dustin's Team in the loss. Matthew's Team improve to 1-3 on the season, while Dustin's Team fall to 3-1.
Cooper was one of four starters to overachieve for Matthew's Team this week. He scored 27.4 points (12 Rec, 134 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) against the Browns in Week 4 to beat his 15.47-point projection. Cooper ranks #29 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Giants next week.
Matthew's Team
Way to shrug off that three-game losing streak, Matthew's Team! Every fantasy GM is sure to be faced with adversity at some point or another... keep pushing forward and good things will continue to happen.
Dustin's Team
Unless Dustin's Team wants to go diva-mode on us, then "not seeing many opportunities" isn't really a viable excuse this week. Our pass-catching corps (three WR and one TE) were targeted a grand total of 17 times in Week 4. Those players might need to hit the practice field, considering they recorded just six receptions.
