Browns come back to defeat Raising Cardinals 98.40-89.32 despite falling short of expectations

There's no way around it, Browns underperformed, at least based on projections. Still, they came back to earn a 98.40-89.32 victory over Raising Cardinals. Browns trailed 89.32-41.90 heading into Monday night, but the squad roared back behind Drew Brees (325 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD) and Derrick Henry (57 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs). Marquise Brown (16.8 points) and Tom Brady (14.12) led the charge for Raising Cardinals in the loss. Browns (3-2) will look to keep it rolling against Vinohrady Devils, while Raising Cardinals (1-4) will try to generate some positive momentum against UnL TD Hunters.

Coach Talk

Browns
You know Browns, we're "glass half full" kind of coaches. While others may harp on the fact that our scoring output has slipped lately, we'll choose to take the high road. Averaging 120.83 points through Week 4, our crew has certainly proven that it's even better than the 98.4 we needed for this past week's win!
Raising Cardinals
"Not seeing many opportunities" really isn't an excuse this week for Raising Cardinals. Our four pass-catchers (three WR and one TE) were targeted a grand total of 27 times in Week 5. Those players should try to get some extra practice reps in with their QBs, considering they reeled in just 16 balls.
