Aussig Spartans come up short of projections, succumb to Honolulu Tigers in 123.74-81.06 rout

There's no easy way to put it, Aussig Spartans underperformed, at least based on projections, as Honolulu Tigers cruised to a 123.74-81.06 win. Honolulu Tigers pulled out to a 5.50-point lead on Thursday behind Damien Harris and never gave it up. David Montgomery (23 points) and Kyler Murray (18.46) led the charge for Aussig Spartans in the loss. This marks the second time this season Honolulu Tigers have taken down Aussig Spartans, after winning 124.68-90.2 in their last matchup. Honolulu Tigers will look to not lose that winning feeling in the semifinal round next week, while Aussig Spartans attempt to rebound and finish the season with a win in the 5th Place game.

Coach Talk

Honolulu Tigers
Bravo, Honolulu Tigers. Putting together a lineup that earned 123.74 points this past matchup.
Aussig Spartans
Unless Aussig Spartans wants to go diva-mode on us, then "not seeing many opportunities" isn't really an excuse this time around. As a group, our four pass-catchers (three WR, one TE) were targeted a respectable 28 times in Week 14. With only 14 total catches, this group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
