Starting with a juicy draft position (No. 3 overall), High Fives had an outstanding performance. After picking up multiple Cowboys in the early rounds (Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooper), High Fives are projected to finish 2nd in CZNFL A League 20 with a record of 11-2 (1,881 points).

  • Patrick Mahomes

Best Pick: What a tremendous early-round value for High Fives, who got Mahomes at No. 27, about two rounds later than his ADP of 12. After a season in which he threw for 4,031 yards and 26 TDs with 5 interceptions in 14 games, totaling 292 fantasy points, Mahomes is projected to score 392 fantasy points with the Chiefs. That makes him a valuable No. 1 QB for this squad.

  • Ronald Jones II

Reach Pick: You may have gotten a bit ahead of yourself when making the decision to choose Jones II with the 10th pick in the 6th round, about 15 spots earlier than his ADP of 85. Projected to score 155 fantasy points this season with the Buccaneers, he'll attempt to match last year when he rushed for 724 yards and 6 TDs and had 31 catches for 309 yards, totaling 151 fantasy points. Based on projected points, Jones II will slot in as the No. 5 RB for High Fives to begin the season.

Draft Notes

  • The early bird gets the worm. You got the jump on your opponents at quarterback, drafting Patrick Mahomes (No. 27 overall) as the first QB off the board.

  • Week 10 will bring a difficult task for High Fives, as they have five players on a bye (Patrick Mahomes, Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, Harrison Butker, and Mike Williams). On the bright side, your Week 10 opponent, Long Island Steelers, will be confronting a similar quandary with four players on the sideline.

  • High Fives won't encounter too many speed bumps in CZNFL A League 20 this season according to projected records with a strength of schedule that ranks as the easiest. That doesn't mean you can take it easy, though. If you aren't active, even light schedules can become tricky without notice.

  • It's clear that High Fives focused on accumulating elite talent, having put together a fairly top-heavy group of players. Combined, the top players from each position are really potent, slated to score the highest point total in CZNFL A League 20. Meanwhile, the rest of the roster is a bit less inspiring, as they're predicted to compile a point total ranking in the middle of the pack.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
