Coming into the draft with a solid draft position (No. 5 overall), expectations were high for Honolulu Tigers. However, those expectations vanished immediately after they drafted, as this team looks to be on pace for a mediocre 8th-place finish in CZNFL A League 20. Behind multiple Seahawks in the early rounds (Tyler Lockett and Russell Wilson), Honolulu Tigers are predicted to post a record of 6-7 (1,741 points).

  • Damien Harris

Best Pick: Honolulu Tigers notched a nice late-round value when they chose Harris in the 15th round, about five rounds later than his ADP of 124. Coming off a rookie season in which he ran for 12 yards on 4 attempts in 1 game, totaling 1 fantasy points, Harris is projected to score 76 fantasy points with the Patriots. That makes him the No. 5 RB for this squad.

  • Jamison Crowder

Going out on a Limb: Either you know something that everybody else doesn't or you got ahead of yourself with the choice of Crowder with the 5th pick in the 9th round, about 21 spots earlier than his ADP of 122. Then again, perhaps you're onto something. Projected to score 181 fantasy points this season with the Jets, he appears poised to top last year when he grabbed 78 passes for 833 yards and 6 TDs, posting 159 fantasy points. Based on projected points, Crowder will slot in as the No. 4 WR for Honolulu Tigers to begin the season.

Draft Notes

  • With only two quarterbacks off the board, Honolulu Tigers saw a run coming and got in early, taking Russell Wilson with the 5th pick of the 5th round. Three more quarterbacks were snatched up in the ensuing round.

  • Honolulu Tigers are in for a rude awakening in Week 6 when they have six players on a bye, led by Russell Wilson, Tyler Lockett, and Jared Cook. Wizardos Tiburones, your Week 6 opponent, will have three players (Michael Thomas, DK Metcalf, and Bryan Edwards) on a bye.

  • With a first-half strength of schedule that ranks as the 3rd-easiest according to projected records, Honolulu Tigers have one of the least challenging schedules early in the season in CZNFL A League 20. Even so, for the full season, Honolulu Tigers face a fairly balanced path rated as the 8th toughest.

  • With the 2nd-oldest group in the league at an average of 5.5 years of NFL experience, Honolulu Tigers seem to be counting on veteran leadership. In spite of that, they still selected one rookie (Justin Jefferson). In total, there were 19 rookies selected over the course of the CZNFL A League 20 draft.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent.
