Back-and-forth battle ends with Brock The Conqueror topping Ravishing Rick Rude, 126.76-118.00
What a whirlwind! After a back-and-forth matchup featuring three lead changes, Brock The Conqueror earned a hard-fought win over Ravishing Rick Rude, earning a 126.76-118.00 victory. Brock The Conqueror were led by Austin Ekeler (59 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 84 Rec Yds) and DeAndre Hopkins (10 Rec, 137 Rec Yds), while Russell Wilson (315 Pass Yds, 5 Pass TDs, 22 Rush Yds) and Ezekiel Elliott (34 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 24 Rec Yds) did everything they could for Ravishing Rick Rude in the loss. Brock The Conqueror (2-1) will look to add to their success against The Heartbreak Kid, while Ravishing Rick Rude (1-2) will match up against Christians Edge in an effort to get some positive momentum.
While racking up 143 yards from scrimmage and running for a touchdown against the Panthers, Ekeler put up 26.8 points this week. He scored 74.9% more than his 15.32-point projection and overachieved for the second time this season. Ekeler ranks #32 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Buccaneers next week.

Sunday Late

Brock The Conqueror
Getting the win is most important, Brock The Conqueror, but we've also identified one spot where we can get better as a team. Our quarterback was utterly overmatched this past week. Russell Wilson went 27-of-40 for 315 yards and five touchdowns for Ravishing Rick Rude, and all Deshaun Watson could manage through the air was 264 yards and two passing scores (plus an ugly interception). Let's bounce back with a big statement in Week 4!
Ravishing Rick Rude
It's entirely possible that Ravishing Rick Rude might be a better talent scout in real football than in fantasy. With just 12 targets combined in Week 3, their three starting pass-catchers (two WR, one TE) apparently contributed to their teams' offenses by blocking downfield and running decoy routes.
