The Heartbreak Kid come up short of projections, lose to Randy Mahomie Savage in 121.98-101.24 rout
There's no sugarcoating it, The Heartbreak Kid didn't do their job, at least according to projections, as Randy Mahomie Savage rolled to a 121.98-101.24 win. The Heartbreak Kid jumped out to a 27.54-point lead on Thursday behind an outstanding performance from Joe Burrow. But it was all Randy Mahomie Savage after that. They were led by Alvin Kamara, who racked up 174 yards from scrimmage and ran for 2 touchdowns for 33.9 points, and Patrick Mahomes, who passed for 302 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 54 yards (30.48 points). Randy Mahomie Savage (1-1) will look to rack up another win against Stone Cold Bosstrin, while The Heartbreak Kid (0-2) will face Junkyard Dog in an effort to right the ship.
With 33.9 points, Kamara scored 82% more than his 18.63-point projection as the Saints lost to the Raiders 34-24. He racked up 174 yards from scrimmage and ran for 2 touchdowns to beat his projection by the highest percentage of any player on Randy Mahomie Savage this week. In Week 3, Kamara and the Saints will go up against the Packers.

Randy Mahomie Savage
You know what, Randy Mahomie Savage, we do certainly appreciate the confidence. It's a bold move to deploy a starter with zero points (Will Fuller V), while still earning the win. All we ask is to please keep that flashy, show-off type of stuff to the early regular season. Try it in the playoffs and we're toast.
The Heartbreak Kid
Well, we can't really complain about a shortage of opportunities this week, can we? As a group, our pass-catching corps (two WR, one TE) were targeted a whopping 14 times in Week 2. With only eight total catches, that group may have some chemistry issues.
