Despite top scorer Murray, Bruce's Team fall to Shock and Awe, 131.92-115.34

Bruce's Team had the premier scorer in the matchup with QB Kyler Murray posting 33.14 points, the fourth-highest total in the league this week, but it wasn't enough to topple Shock and Awe, who staged an impressive comeback for a 131.92-115.34 victory. Shock and Awe trailed 115.34-96.52 heading into Monday night, but the squad charged back behind Alvin Kamara (29.4 points) and Wil Lutz (6). Kyler Murray (286 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 67 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs) and James Robinson (102 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 18 Rec Yds) did their part for Bruce's Team in the loss. Shock and Awe (2-0) will look to keep it rolling against Houston's Cool Team, while Bruce's Team (1-1) meet Eagles Rock in an effort to get back in the win column.

Coach Talk

Shock and Awe
Getting the win is most important, Shock and Awe, but we do know of one spot where we should improve as a team. Our wide receivers were clearly outplayed this past week. Buoyed by Julio Jones (24 total yards, no TDs) and Marquise Brown (42 yards, no TDs), our three WRs combined for only 11.4 points in Week 2. The starting wideouts for Bruce's Team almost tripled us up with a score of 34.1. We need to put some extra effort into scouting those upcoming defenses!
Bruce's Team
Do your best take solace in the fact that your generosity this week didn't go unnoticed, Bruce's Team. It takes a true winner to help someone like Shock and Awe succeed. Who knows, maybe a time will come when they can do you a solid and return the favor!
