The Blues find way to beat Darnold’s fivehead 127.70-112.52
Both teams underperformed expectations, but The Blues did enough to knock off Darnold’s fivehead, earning a 127.70-112.52 victory. The Blues leapt out to a 37.8-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind 49.4 points from Christian McCaffrey (70 Rush Yds, 121 Rec Yds) and Ezekiel Elliott (45 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 28 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and never looked back. Keenan Allen (21.1 points) and DJ Moore (17.5) carried the flag for Darnold’s fivehead in the loss. The Blues (4-7) will look to rack up another win against Questionable AF, while Darnold’s fivehead (8-3) match up against Saquad City in an effort to get back on track.
While catching 5 passes for 67 yards and a touchdown against the Broncos, Rudolph scored 17.7 points this week. His scoring output more-than-doubled his 7.44-point projection and was much higher than his 7.2-point season scoring average. Rudolph will face the Seahawks next week.
The Blues
Hey, exploiting mismatches is the key to football, right? Thanks to great performances by Christian McCaffrey and Ezekiel Elliott, our squad certainly made that a point of emphasis this past week. We thoroughly outplayed Darnold’s fivehead at the running back spot (49.4 points to 9.8). McCaffrey had 191 yards from scrimmage while Elliott logged 73 yards and two scores.
Darnold’s fivehead
Our starting QB tossed four interceptions and just one touchdown? Maybe we should go back and review the game tape. Were the Chiefs truly that stout against the pass, or was Philip Rivers just that off-rhythm with his receiving crew? This judgment is yours to make... Darnold’s fivehead. The Chargers have a bye next week, so luckily you've got some extra time to think on that one!
