Despite top scorer Mahomes, Sissy fall to Virgin squad in 169.10-164.32 battle
Patrick Mahomes posted 46.62 points for Sissy, the No. 1 total in the league this week, but it wasn't enough to topple Virgin squad, who squeaked by for a 169.10-164.32 victory. Sissy had a chance to come from behind on Monday night, but they fell short. Virgin squad led 149.30-131.22 after Sunday's action and held on for the win despite 33.1 points from Odell Beckham Jr. on Monday night for Sissy. Julio Jones (31.6 points) and Russell Wilson (27.2) did the heavy lifting for Virgin squad in the victory. Virgin squad (2-0) will look to get another W against no Vaseline, while Sissy (0-2) will attempt to generate some positive momentum against ROCK OUT W/ COCK OUT.
In a 24-20 win over the Eagles, Jones scored 31.6 points to beat his 21.73-point projection. He caught 5 passes for 106 yards and 2 touchdowns to beat his projection by the highest percentage of any player on Virgin squad this week. Jones will play the Colts next week.
Sunday Early
Both teams had players with standout moments early Sunday, but it was Virgin squad who owned the lead, 71.10-58.00. For Virgin squad, Russell Wilson had a 28-yard touchdown pass. Larry Fitzgerald had a 54-yard catch and a 40-yard catch for Sissy, while Saquon Barkley had a 27-yard touchdown run.

There were players with big-time moments for both teams on Sunday afternoon, but after the dust settled, Sissy owned a 131.22-117.70 lead. For Virgin squad, Travis Kelce had a 27-yard touchdown catch. Patrick Mahomes had a 44-yard touchdown pass and a 42-yard touchdown pass for Sissy, while Brandin Cooks had a 57-yard catch.

Wow, that Steelers defense didn't know what hit 'em! 29 connections on 35 attempts: good enough for an 83 percent completion percentage for Russell Wilson. In what wound up being a tight matchup, the GM of Virgin squad has to be thankful for the attention to detail.

Well, we certainly can't gripe about a shortage of opportunities this time, can we? Our pass-catching corps (four WR, one TE) collectively got a healthy 33 targets in Week 2. Those players might need to hit the practice field, considering they reeled in only 17 receptions.
